It can be disassembled to a degree with the side pods being detachable, the back will be removable and possibly the side panels as well. This will also help with being able to move it around. -

Applied the first coat of flat black. I'll need to inspect for flaws once dry and fill / sand again: -

Sanded, marked, filled and sanded again: I will start painting these black tomorrow. There's almost certainly a little more filling to do as well. -

I've covered the headrest pillar and back plate with vinyl: Approximately 75% of this won't be visible when fitted ... -

Preparing for painting / finishing. This step takes a long time. Slap the body filler on and sand back to seal the MDF edges and make them nice and smooth: It'll still require more filling after I find the defects after applying the primer. -
This looks great! Excellent job.

Yes, more updates please if you've made any progress. This looks like a great build with pretty much everything bespoke. Great work!

This looks very cool. I'd love to see some more pictures of how you're putting all this together.

Thanks very much Sputnix, your comments are appreciated Much of the build has already been completed but there's still plenty to share in terms of approach, techniques and finishing so hopefully there will be some additional useful information for people to use. If anyone wants to know how any existing part of this was done, I'd be happy to share.
