When I try a docking, in 'map mode view', I mean, I saw the two spacecraft in space and I click in the button at left-botton (there are the botton, one for stage view, other one for map view and other one for dock view), it spand a square that is similar to a 'target'... do you understand me? I hope I am able to explain... Ok, so... I find that square ussless, because it don't help me for anything.... so, What is the sense of that? or, How does that square work? How can I get help for that tool? I mean this:

Tutorial Orbiting 101
Lopez de la Osa replied to Lopez de la Osa's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The same happens in tutorial 'To the Mun'. This situation is at the star of the scenario, the tutorial, so I don't stage. In the tutorial 'From the Mun', the spacecraft is 'landed' on Mun, but just at the star, it explodes. -
I am trying this tutorial, to learn about this... but there is a point in the tutorial that Gene Kerman ask me to accelerate... but in the tutorial there is only a pod; there is not fuel neither rocket !!! so there is no way to make grow the 'Ap'. What is wrong? I am using 1.1.1.1250 with Redux and Alarm Clock mods.

Hi, I am thinking about how to ask this... my English is not so good as I wish... I try with very short and concise questions... Is able to build a plane just with the 45 science cost technology? I am not able to conect the fuel container, the air intake and the jet engine... I need some guidelines to build a plane; I don't need a tutorial about how planes works, I found several here in this forum; I need a 'how to step by step' in order to build an easy one. I am not able even to join the tail to the fuselaje with the elements of that technology... Lots of thanks.

Is viable to use aeroplanes to lift about 20.000 meters, or so, a rocket and then launch a rocket from there to orbit? I suppouse it is able, but I want know if it is viable. I mean, 'able' is something that can be done. 'Viable' is something that can be done and is a good idea. I am thinking that when you launch the rocket you have to manage two independents crafts, at least if you want to recover the aeroplane... and I want to do so. And that task must be a very dificult task in an atmospheric enviroment, isn't it?

Hi, I try the turist mission, I use two pods, one of them for the pilot and other one for the turist. But I have big problems at the re-entry; the two pods get too fast and the atmosphere is not enaught to reduce the speed, so the parachutes break when I deploy. Who can I get a easy way to re-entry?

Tutorial Real Life Apollo 11
Lopez de la Osa posted a topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Hi, I am trying this mision: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:_Apollo_11 but, naturally, I have some problems... 1. The stages. When I get the KLO I have yet the stage-3, so I use it to go to Mun, I mean, I make the tranfer orbit with this stage. In the tutorial, I undertand that decouple that stage and reorganize the modules in that travel. I 'try to' reorganize the modules in Mun orbit. What is better? Why? I mean... the stage-3 give me mass but in fact I really don't see if it is usefull. 2. Reorganizing modules. Well, Now that I am at Mun orbit, Why must I reorganize the modules? I tranfers the karbanauts and try to land directily. Even when I try to reorganize, the problem is that I don't have enought electric charge and I have to use RCS and RV-105-thruster. But with this kind of motors I am not able to re-dock, the most dificult I see is that I am not able to rotate the parts. Any tips for this? 3. In an early attemp, the landing module take land/mun in a slope, so the landing module fall. The landing module exploit when I try to get it arrise. The command module was free to go back since there is nobody to wait for. The pod had a heat shield, even with that shield, the pod burn out, Is this normal? I have to said that the re-entry in the atmospher was very vertical, without horizontal component. -
What is a prograde orbit?
Lopez de la Osa replied to Lopez de la Osa's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Lots of thanks to all of you. It is so pleasant to know that here I will have the help I need... -
In a launch, I get a derbis orbiting in the atmosphere; I don't know if this is very common or if this is very weird. The Apo is at 102 km and the Pe is at 45 km. I suppouse that the derbis will lose speed in the atmosphere, so the Apo will be lesser, but in the other hand will the derbis is getting close to Kerbin, it get more speed, so when it get out of the armosphere, it get enougth speed to mantain the orbit. I said that because it seem odd to me.
-
You can call me stupid, but, what is exactilly a 'prograde orbit'? Is the same that a anti-clockwise orbit? Does it depends on the direction of the body I am orbiting?
-
How can I know, after leaving Low Kerbin Orbit and entering in other body, if that new orbit will be clockwise or anti-clockwise? Or, How must I do the maneuver in order to get the new orbit in the sense I want, either clockwise or anti-clockwise? I suppouse that It can be sugest by how the lines are drawn, but I am not able to interpret that. Thanks.

Is there an easy way to know if a wiki page had been update to 1.0? This one seems to had been done: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:_How_to_Get_into_Orbit But this one seems to not: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:_Walkthrough_for_Ye_Compleat_Beginner You only can know this reading the whole page and trying to remember things... What about a mark about the version for the game for the last update? This will be very usefull for newbies (like me).
