it took me two attempts to work out what had gone wrong And Quicksave (And Alt-L to lock the stage) seems to crash KSP every time (hoping for another patch as I cant be the only one who gets a crash every 20 min or so) but the question is - has it changed, not which is the best way of controlling.....

Im having a total nightmare trying to dock (well intercept an orbiting kerbal) Have there been changes in the key bindings and the way docking mode works with v1? in docking mode, which ever mode (translation or rotational) the keys act the same was as they do in staging mode (so wasd rotates and jkl translates). Which makes it very exciting when you try to switch from rotation to translation which simultaneously fires off a stage. im not convinced this should be happening! ive now got extra kerbals to rescue (sitting in capsules with chutes deployed in orbit) and not enough pilots to go get them.
