  1. Can confirm this is happening to me too, Career is very broken.    Contracts not completing, even the 'launch your first vessel' for me, then on returning any vessel i noticed there are stupid amount of funds and science, also rep was maxed out.

  2. Thankyou Squad, your dedication and commitment to KSP have given us (The Community) many memorable moments and laughs.

You have re-invigorated a deeper passion for space in many of us, and that alone has given KSP a special place in my heart. Keep up the great work!

They've been secretly (with secretly hired devs, who secretly work in tandem with the usual team) developing a huge expansion-pack sized DLC complete with new planets, rocket parts, physics upgrades, bugfixes and multiplayer, have completed QA, experimental and several bugfix passes and are going to release it for free alongside 1.2????!!!?!?!? Who said that??!?

Now THAT would qualify as an "amazing" and "big" "event".

    haha it's nice to dream

The orbit bug, which occurs on bodies with no atmosphere, such as Mun and Minimus, was reported to Squad several weeks ago.  The response from Squad?  Deafening silence.

There has not been deafening silence, you looked it up on the bug tracker at all?

It's been having replies from members of squad, just most of the programmers have gone on a Well Deserved holiday, maybe not the best time to do it, but none the less. As a programmer i know, when you spend 6+ months on a single project, you cant really work in it efficiently untill you have a break. Looking forward to there renewd vigor when they return.

  5. The special rule, orange suited kerbals don't refuse to work. Has that been taken out? Or perhaps its a bug.

My mission took longer then i expected and so ran out of supplies, i didnt think too much on it as i use the orange suited kerbals to tread the waters, however it is jebediah, valentina and bob in the vessel and i cannot control them or the craft.  If you need the persistence file then just ask and i'll upload it.  For now here is a screenshot:

  6. My closest call was a kerbaled mission to the mun. I had just enough fuel left to get a return orbit to kerbin at a periapse of 57,000m. At first thought, the abalator and multiple passes through the atmosphere should be fine, untill after the third pass where the ablator ran out and i was still a long way off.

Somehow despite most of the return vessel blowing up in re-entry on the 5th pass, jeb and valentina made a safe landing. All that was left was a hitchiker pod and 2 parachutes. They were lucky that day.

What is with all the hatred toward Squad as of late? First the virtual lynch mobs over the 1.1 open experimentals on Steam, then the contempt toward the cutaway IVA feature shown by Das Valdez, and now this? Maybe Squad was impressed with the quality of work of the coding and modeling itself, and not the superficial fact it's an armed missile.

This past year I've become increasingly disappointed at the content and attitude of some of the forum posts in this community.

Let's not forget the Golden Rule, and everything doesn't need to be taken so seriously.

EDIT: I admit my post may have been fairly strongly-worded as well.  Sorry for the off-topic rant. :sealed:

    Agreed.

As long as mature people are still commenting on the forum there is hope.
