  1. There isn't anything unusual about the flights. I think in this case the explosions were because I was trying to complete the flight quickly and I ejected my solid fuel rockets before they had run out. I got the same results on flights with no explosions. I have noticed today that the career mode has been updated significantly since I started this save game. I probably should have picked up on this sooner. This career was from quiet some time ago. I wonder whether version compatibility is to blame for my problems. The only thing that still confuses me is why it worked for quite some time in the new version before stopping. I think the solution is for me to start a new career. Frustrating, but seems to be the answer.
  2. I did what you suggested, recreating the experiment and here is the output file; https://www.dropbox.com/s/cycnn7kwz05y1mx/output_log.txt?dl=0 Also, here is the save game persistent file; https://www.dropbox.com/s/vmjb0ybm4ec7nj4/persistent.sfs?dl=0 - - - Updated - - - Also, I'm not using any mods. Just the Steam installed KSP.
  3. I'm starting to think it may be an issue with my save game, rather than a specific area. Maybe there was something I've done previously in the game that triggered the bug, but since I only noticed it when I didn't get a report when returning from the Mun I've no idea what triggered it. It seems I can't get any more science in this save. I get the issue repeatedly when bringing back science, but I don't think I could replicate the trigger in a new career. Here are a couple of pictures of the full craft; And the science/recover part;
  4. I'm not sure whether this one is specific to a particular area. I have tried experiments on two areas on Kerbin and on the Mun, but it seems this career has stuck on progress.
  5. Hello. I seem to have stumbled on a bug in Career mode. When I complete a mission and recover a vessel I don't seem to be receiving the science or reports. I first noticed this on my first vessel travelling to the Mun and back. I didn't receive the science from the Science Jr or the Mysterious Goo which I observed when landed. I also did not receive any new reports in the Science Archives. I repeated the above and got the same result. After this I tried a more local science experiment. Starting with 41.6 Science and 1.4 Science in 'Materials Study while flying at Kerbin', I sent a Science Jr into the sky above the space centre and observed the materials bay flying of Kerbin. It gave me a Recover data score of +16.4 Science. I pressed keep data, landed the ship and recovered the vessel. When I look back in my Science Archives I still seem to have only 1.4 Science in 'Materials Study while flying at Kerbin' and 41.6 Science in total. I then tried somewhere I hadn't been before and did a Materials observation at Kerbin's Ice Caps. I got the same results here saying I should get +7.5 Science and when I go to the Science Archives, I have nothing in this report and still 41.6 Science in total. I do have screenshots if you need, but as they just show the above I haven't included them. It looks to me like I can't save missions or gain science. Anyone else seen this problem?
