  1. I remember you asked for the model of the command pod in order to make the IVA, but it isn't quite as simple as that as to share assets it uses multiple models which slot together, and they were modelled at different scales to what KSP uses and to each other. So modelling an IVA based on one would result in misalignments in the game, which let you see non-occluded exterior geometry in the game. I know how I made it so I could work out how to model it not to have the window geometry poking through and stuff.

I feel like I explained that terribly. Oh well! Glad you like it hahaha!

The ranger needs animated parts and 2 more engine modes. What's shryq doing? :/

  2. What do you mean by 'doesn't rotate'? Per chance do you mean tidally locked where the same face is pointed toward the parent body at all times (i.e. Moon wrt Earth)?

And not to nitpick, but a half completely frozen planet makes no sense, especially not when you want 1/2 the surface to be habitable. If your atmosphere is freezing out (basically, condensing into a solid and settling like snow), then the entirety of your atmosphere will eventually end up frozen on the frozen side. Not to mention planet interiors and cores can't "half freeze" in the sense of sides. Over time liquid cores will eventually solidify but this happens from the outside in, if I recall correctly. I can't see a planet ending up half molten core and half frozen core, at least not in the sense of hemispheres. :)

I was using my creativity to think of some stuff. But it would be cool :D

  3. New ideas.

Atlas, a gas planet which Is small but has a high atmospheric pressure, crushing anything in it's stratosphere. Anything that is beneath it's exosphere will have a hard time escaping. But this gas giant must be small on account of its density.

Janus, a planet that does NOT rotate. One part of the planet is full of life and habitable, while the other part is frozen to the core, to the point where the atmosphere Is not breathable.

  4. Got a chance to work on the ranger tonight. The external textures are passable, I have all of the parts exported and ready for unity, except for the VTOL (and docking port--still deciding whether or not to make a custom one right now), which will be done when I get the rest of the vehicle into KSP and figure out where the CoM is. Should be pretty quick from here. All the parts use the same texture, I'm aiming for a greatly reduced memory footprint. Plus control surface.

I have a regretably small amount of time as of late, but I'm hoping for a Thursday release.

So the rangers main engine will finally have another mode to toggle?

  5. Do you have Texture Replacer installed? I had very funky-looking graphical issues at the main menu with version 2.2.4 of TR, which is fixed in 2.2.5.

Mind you, this might not be the same issue at all. There's also a chance it's got something to do with ATM configs - are you using the aggressive version of ATM? You could maybe try deleting the "BoulderCo.cfg" from ActiveTextureManagement\ActiveTextureManagerConfigs and the ActiveTextureManagement\textureCache\BoulderCo folder and trying again. Just guessing though.

    game just crashes now

I'm gonna try that. I hope I don't get a wormhole kerbin this time :/

  7. Did you just extract the contents of the EVE download into your GameData folder? You might have overwritten some of Astronomer's configs and image files with the ones from EVE.

Try deleting the BoulderCo and Environmental Visual Enhancements folders (or at least temporarily moving them somewhere else). Then reinstall EVE. If you haven't got clouds then, or it crashes, your problem is likely with EVE rather than Astronomer's.

Edit: not sure if it's necessary, but you could consider deleting the GameData\ActiveTextureManagement\textureCache\BoulderCo and GameData\ActiveTextureManagement\textureCache\EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements folders as well, if they exist.

Fixed EVE. Reinstalled everything. Now I have this...

    Disgusting to see huh?

I installed the mod and now this happened... that did not happen in v0.25 ... any idea why this is and how I can fix it? This is not only on Kerbin but also on Jool and Laythe.

Ok now I got my game to load, same issue now with the mutant wormhole kerbin glitch thing.
