Not sure if it is just me or what, but trying to take off with the VTOL engine is near impossible. The ranger wants to pitch down HARD and for the first few seconds I can barely keep it level with full pitch up control then it starts to nose down and crashes. This is with only the VTOL engine on and the mains off, trying to get up and establish a hover.

So, I try loading up the game and the module manager get stuck at Endurance/Parts/ENDURANCE/enduranceEngine/enduranceEngine every time. It just freezes there and will not load any further. Any ideas?
.... Nevermind, uninstalled/reinstalled the game and it works now.

We still interested in an updated model? The differences are subtle but I like it. More streamlined. The textures are a bit weird due to the way I changed the model. Anything that should be straight is, it's just the textures that are messed up.
I also figured out a way that we can get rid of the RCS as a separate part, keep the cool-weird-angled-port visual and still get cardinal axis RCS centered on the CoM.

The new model does look pretty good and the fixed/better balanced RCS does sound good if nothing else.

the best option now is to use the struts from KAS
Kerbal joint reinforcement would work good for this since the KAS struts are literally weaker than rolled up, wet toilet paper and break with the smallest bit of force.

OK cool, I'll look into those mods, I'd rather be able to attach parts to eachother without having to use a ton of docking ports which would only increase my part count/lag and make a bunch of ugly seams.

I see in the description of some of the really large parts that they are designed to be assembles in orbit, how would I go about doing this? I don't exactly have a VAB orbiting kerbin and KAS doesn't do part attachment from what ive been able to see?

You should still be able to get the kerbals out by clicking EVA on their portraits. I'm looking into the hatch unclickable bug! No idea why it's happening.
Glad you guys like the Lander! Any feedback on balance/resource levels etc etc?
OK, no problem then, I wasn't sure if it was something going on my end. Take your time this is already an amazing mod.

Am I the only one that still had problems with not being able to get kerbals out of the hab modules? I can transfer out of the command module but the doors on the hab modules are not clickable and any kerbals put into them are stuck forever.

I know a few patches back it was stated that hatches were added to modules but I still cannot get my kerbals out of the hab modules. The command module works fine but any kerbals moved into a hab module are stuck. Clicking on the door does nothing and doesn't even pop up the little tooltip under the cursor saying it is even a hatch.

Yup, raising the gear fixed the nose down issue, thanks.
