Apologies if this has already been answered. I did a quick search and wasn't able to turn up anything useful:
Is there a way to change the light source that determines which side of a body's atmosphere is lit? I'm playing with GPP, OPM, and Galactic Neighborhood. Starting out, Kerbin's atmospheric lighting seems to be almost 180 degrees out of phase with the planets position around Kerbol/Sun:
SpoilerSetting different targets for solar panels on the same spacecraft seems to indicate that the atmospheric lighting source is the Galactic Core, instead of Kerbol/Sun:
SpoilerIf I remove Scatterer and just use the EVE configs that GPP comes with, atmospheric lighting looks normal again, but nowhere near as pretty :
SpoilerMods installed during screenshots were only what was required to run GPP, OPM, and Galactic Neighborhood (with or without Scatterer):
SpoilerI don't have any of these issues without Galactic Neighborhood installed, so that makes me think it's due to the change in global position for Kerbol/Sun. Can I specify the Scatterer light source for each planet? Non-atmo planets are not affected by this glitch/interaction.
Thanks for any help!
ETA: Wow, first post after 5 years!

Thanks, that did it! Now to finish writing my MM configs for all the planet packs I have installed...
Btw, for anyone who uses Scatterer with Galactic Neighborhood, Sun/Kerbol is renamed to StockSun for the sake of mainSunCelestialBody.
