I have have similar problems with a late 2010 MBP with a GT330M (soon to be replaced), normally the game is quite playable except for the research screen. It's near impossible to upgrade my science in career mode! I don't know why that's the crashiest part of the game (for me at least). Hope this gets solved soon!

Hey, I'd like to suggest that this tech be renamed to Unkerbaled Tech, since it would be a lot more fitting and also is gender neutral (since there are now female Kerbals too)! Just my two cents, maybe others might agree?
