One thing i remember from the past. I always launched KSP in windowed mode because im using Eyefinity. And as soon as i tabbed out of KSP while it was loading to browse the internet or whatever, the loading time was SUPER slow, so i tabbed back in and it regained normal loading speed. edit: changed to Fullscreen und Full resolution checked firewalls etc launched KSP again -same issue

Hi ppl, i was enjoying pre-1.0 KSP for over 112hrs on Steam with the same hardware without any issues. Now with the 1.0 release the game takes ages to launch. Around 3 seconds per file (flags, sounds...doesnt matter) what i did so far: - removed all mods - reinstalled the game on my HDD - reinstalled the game on my SSD - checked game cache, game files - disabled steam overlay - started with admin rights - started full screen, windowed, full windowed - removed my old saves and settings - disabled 64bit mode So anyone here with the same issues and a workaround? im eager to play around with 1.0! thanks i5 2400 8gb corsair xms3 r9 280x samsung 840 pro ssd win7 prof 64bit as mentioned - no changes on the hardware i can play games like war thunder, iracing, banished, call of duty, dota etc without any problems
