  1. Thanks for your help, I don't know what the problem is. When I alt-tab there is a preview for KSP, the Task Manager stays over the top and I don't have Optimus. By now i think it is something other than your fix that is the problem. If I get it working I'll let you know what I did. Thank you
  2. Jazz I tried the Task Manager thing but it was visible when I opened KSP, I checked that full screen was enabled in KSP game menu. I'm going to try and validate the steam game cache and then reinstall your patcher, just to see if there was a problem with what I did. Just to be sure, you place it in the folder, along with the source files, with the launcher and the GameData files and all that stuff, just not in any particular files. Tetryds, thanks for replying. I held alt after alt-tabbing and the game went straight to the desktop, there is a flash of those boxes but it goes away. EDIT: I validated the Steam cache and it re-acquired 5 files. I then used your patcher, everything went okay but still I can see the task manager in KSP.
  3. Hey, I tried your new test Jazzkutya but it didn't work. I let KSP load to menu screen (Start Game, Credits that stuff) and then hold alt down after alt-tabbing, nothing happens. If i alt tab out of KSP then hold alt after tabbing while on desktop or any other screen then those active windows pop up but there is no second KSP window just KSP, Steam and Desktop.
  4. Thanks for replying, my settings are set as fullscreen in-game and I am using Steam not the launcher. The set launch options field is empty
  5. Hey, thanks for the help with the patch but it doesn't seem to work for me. I follow your instructions and console box pops up, I tell it yes I want to patch and it does it successfully, but when I launch KSP it is still not in full screen.
  6. I am also having the same problem as Krakenfour, I am in Windows 8.1 on a laptop and have KSP 1.0 in Steam. I have tried the original solution, changing 000109C to a 0 from 1. I launched and there was no change (No 'blink' when alt-tabbing and ShadowPlay doesn't work) I made sure that all my in-game settings were correct, full screen ticked and background processing off. My ShadowPlay FPS counter comes up but when I hit the hotkey but no recording indicator showed up. This is the unaltered file: This is the change I made, the 1 to the 0 at 109C:
