Alrighty.....after looking over the info you all gave, and getting the affirmation that I was following the steps properly I did the next logical thing. I removed all mods I had loaded. After doing this the mining drills started working. Not sure which one did it, because none of them should have conflicted with mining operations, but hey it works now. Now to load them one by one and find out who is the culprit. Thx!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, I seem to be doing something wrong while attempting to mine and asteroid. I attach to it with the claw and lower the drills without a problem. They seem to go right in the asteroid based on graphics. However, when I go to turn them on nothing happens. They just say no info and do not start up. I checked the craft on the ground and it works just find in respect to mining ore. I have tried three different asteroids and I am at a complete loss.
