I paid for the game but those new versions always crash as out of memory on my PC.

If you want to make a craft work in a lower KSP version, then you have to open your .craft file with notepad and change the KSP version to the version you want to make the craft work.

Mod-creators, You should make a mod with some rover parts which will automatically take surface samples. You can also add tracks. Please mak one for KSP 0.22.
