Thanks very much. I had tried this with parts already on the station such as batteries, a mechjeb and illuminators but these would not go into the inventory. When I tried it with a small strut it worked. I suppose I have to modify some config file to move those other parts around.

I'm unable to move parts around on my space station because I cannot RCS while holding a part. I've seen tutorials galore where the part is stored on the Kerbal's back but I cannot find the answer on how to do this. Please advise. Thanks. ---Ledg
