Not that I know of. You would just have to go to your volume mixer or whatever controls the volume on your computer and turn KSP's off. Then you would have to turn it back on when going back into the game.

It doesn't do it anymore. One mod recently updated (I don't remember which one) and after that the CTDs stopped.
