Make a spare ksp mods folder in your documents folder and put all the mods your not using there. It worked for me. make shore that you uninstall the mods your not using

aerodynamic heat shields would be great because when the standard striate design is used high speeds are achieved than every thing overheats but just to even every out you can just make them heavier the inline parachutes would by great because over heating destroys parachutes and I always find a way to break them

I don't know to put this but when I fly a ship when the physics load the well the UI still works but the screen is black there is no revert and when I go back to the KAS kerbin is gone but there is the skybox for space and there is the UI.
