Definitely go with a gaming laptop like Alienware here is one on amazon. I currently have a mac but will be going back to windows. Most of the developement projec ts im working on required windows anyways. Depending on your needs it should work well.

Save yourself $150, check this out http://www.instructables.com/id/Astronaut-Costume/ It's not as bad as you may think. Here is another video I found. I've been looking into this as well.
