It would be nice if satellites could be used to generate income over time. For example launching a Communication satellite (maybe needing a special communication relay component), brings you a certain amount of income each month/day dependant on communication bandwidth (from antennas and "communication relay component"), demand (dependant on location of satellite) & age of satellite (revenue drops off over time) Similar Issue with Spy & Weather satellites but with a radar and camera components and maybe providing extra prestige or research repetitively over time too. Thoughts?
