Update I've solved the problem. when i was looking through the log to see on what it bugged out(side note the program din't actually crash) i saw there where mods installed. I thought i was running a clean version of the game. when I removed all of them the bug disappeared. I'm yet to discover which of the mods was the problem but that means that the mystery is solved. thanks for the replies
