When you're IVA, lets say when plummeting to Kerbin or rising out of it, you should be able to hear takeoff rattling noises or something. Also maybe a thump when you dock and maybe when you land as well with the landing legs. If its with wheels, maybe the landing sound that planes make when the wheels touch down.

I think there should be something where you can be in first person mode with Kerbals and be able to move around the cabin, like if you were in a space station. and with that, there should come some better viewing cupolas, or a glass structural fuselage so that Kerbals can see what's outside. With first person and a view of the inside of the cabin, you could also have an interesting EVA, maybe depressurization and the opening of the hatch to the vacuum of space, or to the planet you're on. Could also be for transferring Kerbals from different ships
