1.1.0 Instantly crashes on load :\

I have a similar problem where the game either crashes or freezes a second or two into the loading process, but I'm on a mid 2014 MacBook Pro Retina. It also has an integrated Intel GPU (Intel Iris Pro 5200 I think). The GPU has never played nice with KSP, but I sorta hoped 1.1 would fix it rather than make it worse... Here's my specs in case it helps.
