I'm starting to think the mods are trying to shuffle off all negative comments into one thread so it doesn't look so bad. Forum looks less dissatisfied, the actual complaining looks like an incoherent mess. Assuming they don't read as far as the complaining about the thread merging. Very common with indie devs. I don't see any other logical explanation for it. Made it bloody impossible for us to understand the new physics, and find workarounds for bugs or things we don't like. Just irritating your existing customers. I do really like the increased performance, better graphics, I even like the UI now that I'm more used to it. The wheel physics aren't so bad that I understand them better, but they're still kinda buggy (on T1 everything slides sideways at 0.1m/s, steerable gear clips through the ground often). I would had figured them out a lot faster were there a thread called "new wheel physics" that wasn't stuffed into this one.

Wheel physics are radically different. Quite fiddly but it's still doable. Try smaller planes with bigger wheels. Failing that you'll have to post pics of aircraft.

The endless thread merging is making this thread really incoherent. It's just too much for a single thread. It's really silly. We should be able to have separate threads for the wheels, UI, crashing, other issues.

I'm not so much worried about flawless, I'd just like some improvement in the very near future. I know the current limitations, the workarounds, and such. But the level of mucking about with wheels required at the moment is a real chore. The "run experiment" button often pops up under the "reset, transmit or keep" window for experiments that have been run. It's a real pain when running multiple experiments. A real pain as often you'll only have a short time window to get them all done. Fudging around the UI really gets in the way.

Are the landing gear going to be changed at all? I want to start a new save but I do not want to play with 1.1's gear as it is. Would like some idea of if/when it's fixed so I know whether it'll be 1.0.5 or 1.1 that I play with.
