This was caused by me. I did not realize I had left force OpenGL in my Steam launch options. Just in case anyone else is experiencing these problems: Uninstalling and reinstalling through Steam does not clear your launch options. This can cause issues.

So I've been batch installing a lot of my favourite mods with CKAN. I done a bad somewhere but I can't figure out what. I know this is likely a mod causing this, possibly due to conflicts, but I'm not sure which one. So far I'm looking at PlanetShine (which I uninstalled via CKAN, but I'm not sure it's totally gone?) or Distant Object Enhancement. Both of which I love. I'm heading out for a bit so I figured I'd post this here in the off chance someone has an idea of what the problem is before I get back and start uninstalling mods to figure out what's going wrong. Any help anyone could offer would be awesome. If I'm forgetting to include anything helpful then please just let me know and I'll add it.
