    correct mike. i have the ksp win104 folder on the desktop. then the game data folders at the top. i put the space shuttle folder within that game data folder. and the craft file in both the sph/vab. the space shuttle folder DOES contain individual parts, IE: onepiece, wings, tail, airlock,canadaarm. all them are present. there is a game data folder within the space shuttle folder though, in which these parts are inside. is that the conflict? and yes running 1.0.4 ksp version. heres the list of mods im runnin so far

    lolex,magicsmokeindustries,mechjeb2,realplanes,ships,space-shuttle,starlionindustries,YF-12a (real jet plane mod) and they all work. ill send the log in a few

    ok tried your new download mike. even with the craft file. when i try to load it in the sph, i get "missing or incompatible parts. and every part listed for the space shuttle is saying its not there. when i know it is. they dont appear on the parts list on the left pane either. i also get a kspapiextentions not compatible popup also. not sure if they are tied together. all other mods work though. infernal robotics etc work fine.

    Ok I understand you are using realism overhaul. I noticed these problems but must if forgot whel I realised I should upload what I have done knowing I only have 2 hours I can sleep before get up for work.

    Its the ro configs. Its hard to test all aspects everytime edits are done on 2 installs running 2 different modsets on each and make sure both stock and modded work alongside with the iss and keep it compatible. I do miss things sometimes. These are huge mods to do alone and keep updated constantly during changes.

    But I will do what I can.

    Feedback is key here.

    ok so i dont see the parts of the shuttle in the parts list of either the vab or sph.

    Its ok check back in about 3 hours.

    Not sure where we are all at so I thaught I might as well mention.

    Craft files are basically a save file for a built ship.

    If you build one in the VAB and click save you make a craft file.

    It is not NEEDED for the mod to work it just means you dont have my saved ship to load up ingame.

    However you can still put it together yourself in the VAB.

    oh ok lol well ill try that then. that should have been a big duh. i remember doing that very same thing before .20 on the original component shuttle. thats how long its been for me! work.. and moved to kansas city. thanks again mike i surely will check back!

    Welcome back!!! Open up the folder that you downloaded called "Space Shuttle 1.7.3" You will see two craft files. They are labeled .craft. You cant miss them.

    Throw them in the VAB Folder in the Ships Folder.

    well im using google chrome canary. just assuming maybe i need firefox? ive downloaded both the space shuttle with extras and the space shuttle downloads and there are no craft files anywhere in either. its not even labled as you showed. it just says "space-shuttle". i click on that and all is is gamedata folder, licenses, 2 txt docs and a readme doc. thank you for the reply too :)

    Is it just me or is this new version hard to fly? the front end is too lightweight and always does flips. and the only fuel you have is with the external tank (which sucks). i miss the old version where it had its own fuel (so you can take off from the runway like a plane) everything else is awesome even the built in landing gear :) if those 2 issues were fixed it would be flawless!

    Ok im a newb i did finally get it to work. my winrar itself was corrupt. However whoever said the shuttle doesnt glide/fly i have proved wrong. i put the stock movable landing gear wheels on it and it takes off like a plane and flies, goes into space and lands fine with me. of course i put a stock sas in the nose cone to help. thanks for this package!

    For the record im american i just love these planes. flies pretty good responsiveness is a little too fast but it does go where you point it. Using the retractable landing gear that came with .15

    Mostly stock accept:

    camera mod (cameras are placed around the aircraft) so youll need that to work it. (press F7 to scroll views)

    Aviation pack that uses dumb bomb

    Wing pack (triangular and rectangle wing pieces)

    Bigtrak pack because it uses headlights from that. have to see at night!

    C7 intake and thruster mod (whatever its called sorry for vagueness) because it also uses the tiny version of the regular sized intakes and after burners that came with .15 unless that came with i dont remember.
