Hello,
I have KSP, up to date as of Aug 9, 2016 (1.1.3.something something) and no mods. I have started to get recurring situations that generate the same error. Any tips or suggestions?
Error: "Vessel Loading Error - Vessel Nina Kermin was not loaded because the following parts were missing: unknownPart"
What do I do to cause the error?
Not sure what is causing it, but it appears to come from when a kerbal in space (or on the Mun in my other scenario) tries to enter an object or pod (they were different craft and different pod types). The kerbal enters the craft, the view changes focus to that craft, however, there is still a visible kerbal "ghost" outside the craft. I cant change my view to focus on it, or control the ghost. Gameplay was a little odd at the time while trying to control the craft, like the navball wasn't aligned with the craft or something. I also couldn't go to the Space Center, I had to go to map view select a different craft and focus on it. Then I could go to the space center, and back to my original craft where the kerbal just entered it and all was normal again.
Then, I landed the rescued kerbal to complete the mission. I clicked on Recover Vessel, the game displayed the Mission Summary and all my points, but on top was the error message "Vessel Loading Error - Vessel Nina Kermin was not loaded because the following parts were missing: unknownPart"
In the crew tab, Nina was displayed normally and she accumulated the expected points/level up.
The funnier scenario was when it happened on the Mun because the ghost kerbal appeared bouncing around and his legs grew to about 10x their normal length and in odd directions... and he was attached to something but I can't remember what (structural strut or something, maybe it was his arm haha).

Windows 10 64bit OS.
KSP runs through Steam, I assume it is 64 bit KSP, whatever the default Steam would do for me
It if happens again I will try to grab a screenshot and save game file and try to give an update
