Currently the rockets on Curiosity aren't enough to get in a stable orbit. This is a really early build of it, so hopefully by next update I'll have a strong enough rocket!

I\'m using a keyboard. I do own a decent joystick at home but I still haven\'t really learned using it with KSP.
