  1. What you basically need to do in order to choose your landing site is to know how to change your orbital plane (there\'s a guide about this, but I don\'t remember where exactly). Then, once your orbit is aligned with the location you want for your landing, you 'simply' have to time your retrograde burn and adjust your throttle to kill horizontal velocity. Once there, you can fine tune your landing site using RCS or precise maneuvering with your engine. I\'m no pro at this though, so I believe some other people will give you better advice
  2. I didn\'t even think about using something similar to the landing legs, but I was indeed speaking about a continuous rotation, and not simply a set angle. If we can however set an angular speed rather than an angle, it might just work. As I said, though, I can\'t check that by myself, so I\'ll just wait for someone to try this
  3. Hi everyone, I was just playing around with a so-called UFO (those ships with lots of winglets that build speed when rotating), and was wondering if it would be possible to code a part so that it (or part of it, for attachment purposes) rotates about its own axis (the same way bearings work). If so, would it be possible to attach others parts on the rotating part? The purpose of my question is purely informative, as I have no coding ability whatsoever, but if someone wants to give it a try, I\'d really like to know about it!
  4. I must say I\'m not sure whether this is possible with the current 'most relevant only' gravity, because each time you change SOI you might be thrown off course (I may be mistaken, though).
