I have a feeling it has to do with the Physics Range Extender, but in an earlier version, I was able to launch battles against the island airfield. However, recently, if I fly far every ground vehicle will fall through and explode. All SAMs and vehicles and non-building structures all explode some 20+ KM away from the host vehicle. What settings of the Physics Range Extender can I change to solve this?

More RAM or Faster RAM?
NIBARR replied to NIBARR's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Thanks for the info, I can assume that having large quantities of fast RAM would be the best for running KSP. I am thinking of buy 32 GB of 3200 sticks and upgrading to 64 GB later. I have 12 GB of ancient RAM on my current workstation and a dinosaur Xeon and it runs extra slow. When I build my new PC, I will have the i7-8086K as my processor, an NVMe M.2 SSD for the OS and my Programs, a separate NVMe for files of videos I will work on for slightly faster data transfer but will retain my GTX 1060 Ti 6GB. I hope to upgrade to an RTX when it gets cheaper. I am looking for a motherboard to maximize speed and I have a friend that can help me build and OC the Processor, GPU, and RAM. In terms of the Power supply, should I go 80 Plat or 80 Titanium for what it is building up to? -
I am building a computer that is a combination for my Video Editing Software and Gaming. Most of the programs I run is based on single-core speed so I picked myself up a 8086K. Since it seems KSP is more based on speed than core quantity, this CPU seems to do. Now about the RAM, does KSP benefit more from a larger quantity or faster ram? Cost is not too much of an issue, I just want to squeeze every ounce of power for my epic BDA battles and space missions when I feel like it.

[1.0.2] B9 Aerospace | Procedural Parts 0.40 | Updated 09.06.15

That seems to be the issue. It is a whopping 39 tonnes. My stock is incredibly lighter than the B9PW. I managed to reduce the weight by dropping fuel and reducing the density of the wings. However it breaks apart like a dandelion upon takeoff. It lifts off, then the wings break off, or really just explodes. Is there a way to make the wings stronger but still retain its weight reduction? -

Hello, I've been having issues with my planes lifting off the ground when I use the Procedural wings. I'm not talking just about lift, but direction change as well. For example, I made a relatively large surface area of a fighter jet plane. I am on the runway well over 100 m/s and I rotate the stick yet it seems to lift off the ground as if it is lifting a building. I checked with my stock wings to see if it is related wit my FAR mod or my BDArmory mod, yet it lifts and changes direction really quickly. I could Pull more than 15 Gs in less than a second vs with my Procedural wings. At over 100m/s and this guy seems to struggle at a moderately high angle of attack. Note the navball and the direction on the plane in relation to the angle of attack. At an extremely high AOA. I tried to change direction only to get into a spin. I recovered from the spin, but I didn't stop falling. In comparison with stock parts Traveling at a lower speed yet still pulls more gs than the above at takeoff. Seems to maneuver beautifully, pulling +15 gs. Very high alpha, but definitely changes direction. Is this a FAR issue or a value change I have to do on the Procedural wings? The wing seems pretty big compared to the plane. -
Hello, I installed BDArmory according to the instructions but it is not showing up. Here's my install path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\BDArmory Played with and without other mods. The game is updated to the most recent version. I downloaded DBArmory Here: https://spacedock.info/mod/79/BDArmory Hopefully we can find a way to make it work.
