Annoluce

Well, not very new: 46 old "young adult" here! I'm Max, "annoluce" standing for lightyear in italian. My nick since a longtime. I live in Rome. I approached KSP some time ago. Now really starting to enjoy it! I'm an aerospace engineer. I worked in aerospace industry (rocket propulsion design for the european VEGA launcher) many years ago. Then I moved on to the IT market, and now back to Air Transport Industry, working for a global service provider for airports and airlines. I have to say that I studied a lot of astrodynamics, but nothing is like KSP when it comes to actually understand how orbits work! This piece of SW is truly amazing. I'm having a lot of fun! I hope to enjoy this community and learn a lot. Thanks Max

Hey Sigma, there is nothing that you can do form me, nothing more than the awesome stuff you already do modding! Indeed, it is a SVT issue, since Kopernicus installed on vanilla KSP works just fine. After installing EVE/SVT the sun textures are corrupt. Hope it will be fixed soon... Thanks Galileo. Hope you fix it soon, as it is great to have all the wonderful mods and the sun together!

Hi, thanks. I also have EVE and SVE installed (and other mods such as distant objects, engine light) and I have a good detail on Kerbin. You say that I should instead strat from clean KSP, install kopernicus, and then proceed with EVE/SVE/SVT and other mods? Is this the correct order to proceed and this will fix the issue? Is the order of installation the issue? Thanks for your reply

Hi, thanks. How can it be a SVT problem if it happened yesterday after installing kopernicus alone? I tried to install one mod at the time to see when it was popping. After releasing kopernicus mod files into the gamedata, I run the game and the sun was corrupt. Before installing SVT files...

Dear space kerbalians, I'm new to this fantastic sim game and I promise I will place a nice presentation post shortly. Don't know if this is the right place for this discussion. I'm starting up with training and missions and on the wave of enthusiasm I installed some mods: EVE, SVE, distant objects, scatterer, kopernicus, SVT. After the install, the planet kerbin looks gorgeous and everything is fine, but the sun textures are gone! I will try to attach an image as soon as I understand how to do it. I can't figure out where the problem is. I've read that the scatterer double installation (one standalone and one included in SVE) could be the problem, I tried to copy sun textures (that I see in scatterer folder) also to SVE_scatterer, but no way of solving. I've read that somewhere there is a config file for this (I think for SVE) but can't find it. Please I enjoy so much this game, I want my sun back! Suggestions? I will also try to install one mod at the time, the scientific approach you know. Thanks a lot for helping. Max
