So, how exactly do I use the ChemCam, and what is it good for? I mounted it atop my Karibou Expedition Rover and took it to Duna, but I really have no idea what to do with it. Any explanations would be welcome!

Recently, I turned up the rendering quality level in the graphics settings menu, and then restarted the game. The initial loading screen loaded fine, but then went to a black screen with an frozen loading symbol in the corner. The cursor does not move, and when I click with the mouse, a window pops up and says the game is not responding. Should I try fully restarting the game, or is there some way to revert the graphics settings?
