Just watched your second video, much better but still some lag, not much you can do about it on a mac, but you could mess around with KSP and Fraps settings.

Cool ship design and all but, to be honest It's hard to stay entertained when you can't tell what's going on. The whole video was laggy and you were speaking very softly. Also, next time you do this turn down your settings so that you get better framerate and try to set a goal to make it a bit more interesting. P.S. not bad for a first video though.

I don't see why that is so funny. Star Trek VOY theme was great. Probably more space relevant than "Friendship is magic"

Here we can see my largest lander on the surface of Duna, was equipped with 3 stock parachutes on the 3 boosters and 1 large 3 parachute attachment on the top of the capsule that was ripped off and helped slow me down the most. I must say landing on Duna was the most intense thing i have done in KSP VERY satisfying.

Check out the Kosmos Parts pack in the addons showcase fourm. Those are some really good parts that should keep you busy for a while.

Looks like you have quite a bit of fuel (in the form of full fuel tanks) as the body of the station, that is a lot of mass to try and put up into orbit. AKA it's really heavy and needs some extremely powerful rockets to get it into even the lowest orbit. I suggest you find a different part to make the body of your station.
