I was thinking in launching a couple of missions recreating SOHO and a SENTINEL for asteroid tracking, and some orbital telescopes from a mod, but I think these points aren't possible in KSP because of the physics in the game, am I right? If it's not possible, is there an alternative for these points where a probe can be in Kerbol SOI and also be aligned with Kerbin?

What is your most facepalm-worthy moment regarding KSP?
Dr. SpaceFreak replied to MaverickSawyer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It was that time in a contract... A munnar orbital station with four kerbals on it... But I got a probe on it... I forget to get the kerbals in and I realize of it when a put the station in orbit of Mun... -
My humble Munnar station: 2 science labs, a coupula, 2 Hitchhicker modules, an Adove module (10 kerbals capacity from a mod) several solar panels (-1 of them, destroyed by this idiot kerbal on the picture), some antennas and 15000 electric charge, and a couple of fuel tanks, also a Davon selfsupply tank and a bunch of docking ports. Oh, and thanks guys for the help!

safe aerobraking heat
Dr. SpaceFreak replied to EndTraveler's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Usually, I crash on the ground coming back from above 250-300 km without no heat shield, but all depends on the speed you're reentring. I ignore the exact values for these situations , but about 2000-2500 m/s on reentry while in dense layer of the atmosphere will blow out your little vessel. -
safe aerobraking heat
Dr. SpaceFreak replied to EndTraveler's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Is your orbital eccentricity <1(elliptical)? If that's the situation, you're going to fast for a safe reentry. You need to slow down while reenty, maybe using thruster, and later the chutes, or achieve a nearly circular LKO and make the reentry. If you're going to fast, depending on how fast you're going, your vessel can burn out, or you will crash on the ground cause chutes will not deploy correctly. -
I've been trying to land these structures in atmosphereless celestial bodies like Mun or Minmus, so there is no posible airbreaking or parachutes. I always made it vertical powered by trusters, but It's kind of unstethic method, even when the gravity it's relativetly lower. So, what would you good people recommend me for landing these bases horizontally?

I got three heliocentric satellites with SENTINEL Infrared Telescopes on them for tracking asteroids near Kerbin, but I only can see on the map several fancy interrogative signs and the class of the asteroids around the planet. How can I see the orbital trajectory of this objects and how do I reach them? Thanks.
