  1. Crashed Duna Rocket (Failed) Laythe Rescue SSTO Another Photo of the SSTO Will probably edit with more photos at some point soon.
  2. whenever i press \ (my hotkey for toggle mouse look), it re centres the mouse, but doesn't actually toggle it. I've checked my hotkeys, and it's all as it should be.
  3. when making me planet packs, stuff not going well and being a royal poo for over a week. Then i accidentally open my main save and all of my crafts are either slammed into the ground of kerbin or flung into interstellar space. I have 14 of over 60 crafts remaining.
  4. click the unknown object button to hide them. You can also delete them in your game's save config, but that'll probably take a while considering how many there are.
  5. my potato with an i5-6200U and gtx940mx struggles for 4fps launching with scatterer and stock EVE configs. Unless they figure out a way to optimise scatterer a load and change the profession of EVE from CPU butcher to janitor, there's no chance they'll run well on a potato.
  6. me neither. There's a reason i'm still playing on 1.4.5, though i will probably update once i get my new pc (performance and stuff)
  7. i would be wary about the 4th gen i5, but you should be good.
  8. It is possible with the "Tiltem" mod, which is a WIP (and somewhat buggy), but allows axial tilt. Im sure when it's more advanced it'll be implemented into some planet packs, too.
  9. I know that, as a fact i make my own planets, however i think it would be nice for console players to have new bodies to explore, as well as some new stock style bodies. There is a kopernicus expansion addon that allows you to create comet trails
  10. I do have experience making planets and textures. With PQSMods you can't generate terrain like that. Same goes for colouring.
  11. There's a fairly new kopernicus addon called TiltEm, which implements axial tilt. It isn't very advanced yet, so it's being used by any planet modders from my knowledge. With the mod you get a config file which gives axial tilts to the stock system though. It is buggy but it's being worked hard on.
  12. As aziz said, there are too many factors. For example atmospheres are pure EVIL to make, and the config file has a loadddd of parameters. Not to mention the maps to apply to the body.
  13. They can be made, but they won't be very good. It would be difficult to procedurally create planets which aren't several steps of noise stacked on each other. Same goes for the colour: They'd all end up very similar to Gilly in terms of colouring (bland, little variation) and terrain (simple mounds, no interesting terrain whatsoever). It would also take some time for the game to render the maps and apply them.
  14. The stock system is getting kinda boring, and in my (and quite a few others') opinion, it needs a bit of updating. I get that new dedicated assets such as scatters and PQSCity objects may take a bit of time to make, but it doesn't take too long and will bring a great addition to the game. Before you non-planet pack making mortals start saying about how hard it is to make planets, lemme just say in all honesty it isn't that hard. Making amazing planets is another level, and can get hard, but people like gameslinx and many others in the kopernicus discord server manage to create frankly AMAZING planets. In short im proposing either new moons in the Kerbol system, or even a new set of bodies, including comets (hear me out). For comets they're fairly easy. Small body with particle effects (possible with kopernicus, dont know about stock. If it isn't possible with stock then forget the particles), with a high eccentricity. It would fly close to Kerbol, below the SemiMajorAxis of Moho, and then be cast upwards past the SemiMajorAxis of Eeloo. It would have interesting and rough terrain, and grant high science values. The new system could be a gas giant, ice giant, or a dwarf planet. IMO an ice giant would be interesting, because currently there aren't any in the Kerbol system. The ice giant would have at least double the radius of Kerbin, and somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5 gees at sea level. This planet would have a ring (rings aren't that hard to make, don't scold me in the comments for this!), and multiple moons, one of which being an asteroid forming INSIDE of the ring. Overall i think it would be interesting to get a new system added to the Kerbol system, to mix things up a bit and provide a new, refreshed destination.
  15. heh. when I was experimenting with a comet I managed to make canyons 10km deep (aka a large portion of the comet's radius). It was awesome to fly around.
