  1. Even if it is 50/50 there is a heap of people that are waiting to buy it but were also waiting for the initial reviews. These people aren't going to review it favourably, seeing as they haven't bought it yet. The ratio of negative/positive feelings must surely be weighted heavily in the negative.
  2. Oh crap that's me. I can afford an upgrade and KSP2 but there is zero chance I'll buy this until it surpasses KSP1 in features and modability. Edit expanding on this: I believe EA is for testing new game features, getting new games to market, building playerbases and the kind of bug testing only large amounts of users can do (system compatibility for example). EA in the case of KSP2 does not add any new features, there is no new game play, it is a sequel for a tried and tested game and most importantly of all; ANY amount of QA can see this is broken from the start and needs significant patching to be playable and releasable as an EA title.
  3. I think you're missing a 3rd scenario. Devs know it's not ready for EA, we know it's not ready. T2 have demanded the release because it will then appear on 2022/23 corporate balance sheets.
  4. "What did I do?" After a shakey launch, Jeb managed to circularise his orbit. Looking at the fuel guages he realised it'll be tight to get to the Mun AND home. KSC Control received Jeb's penultimate communication; "I'm gonna be the first Kerbal on the goddam MUN! None of you can stop me." Jeb's final communication some 36 hours later; "Yaaaa I'm here guys! Ummm can you send Val to come get me?" Val's report reads that a dishevelled Jeb entered her capsule at 2355 this evening. Then he ate all the biscuits.
  5. I'm in the same position as you after the 1.6 update, returning after a couple of years break. I played a bunch of 1.6 sandbox over the Christmas break and installed the following main ones for a career save. As far as I've tested they all work together in 1.6. TAC life support and MKS. Remotetech EVE, scatterer, texture replacer, distant object enhancer, planetshine, KS3P (need to feck about with the config to make it less dark). Flight Manager for Reusable Stages. Mission Control 2 and s bunch of other contract packs. In addition , the usual "good housekeeping" KSP mods. Flight engineer, alarm clock, transfer window planner etc. I wanted to install Astronomer's Visual Pack but my laptop can't really handle it. I looked at Kerbalism played a bit a really liked it; but it's not that friendly with other mods, hence I chose TAC instead. The planet packs don't work as yet. Kopernicus isn't updated to 1.6. I'm torn between Galileo or Whirligig. -edit KOPERNICUS IS UPDATED! Can anyone chime in on a good planet pack?
