  1. On the mechjeb front, I noticed that remote tech does not recognize the mechjeb pod as a command module. local control is disabled if you don't actually have a manned pod on your rocket. I just confirmed by replacing the mechjeb pod with the mk1 pod and local control was available.
  2. I haven't tested it yet but does the new version fix the problem where it doesn't recognize the mechjeb capsule version as being capable of local control? I have a rocket that has a mechjeb capsule and two comsats with enough fuel to position both in geo syncronous orbits. Unfortunately I can't put the ship under local control so once it gets out of range of KSP, I lose control. I haven't downloaded the new version yet to test since I am still at work but hoping someone else has run into this problem....
  3. autothrottle appears to be broken in 1.9.3 even if I throttle up before engaging, mechjeb fails to circularize properly and I end up in a kerbin escape trajectory I haven't tested any of the orbital maneuver stuff to see if the throttle problem exists there. I am running the new remotetech, isa map, and protractor plugins and I haven't started eliminating conflicts to see if there is an issue.
  4. YEAH it would be INSANELY huge. Part of the reason why I want to try it Yeah the lack of a command module decoupler is an oversight on my part. I banged this out the other day at work. While you are correct that the wings shouldn't have an effect out of the atmosphere but they do seem to improve agility in orbit, however I believe this is mostly due to how wings are implemented and that may eventually get fixed. Outside of that, I think they add some aesthetic value and in the future may be more useful for landing on other bodies that have an atmosphere. I do appreciate the feedback!
  5. Large Tri-Coupler! Bless your heart! can't wait to try it out.
  6. Thanks! My personal preference is I usually begin my turn around 20k. Turn to about 45 degrees then hold for another 20k and then flat out to 0 I'm no orbital wizard so I have no idea if this is ideal or not. I just prefer a smooth curve to orbit rather than the straight up, turn and burn approach. I find that the easy turn tends to waste less fuel converting from a ballistic to orbital trajectory. I really wish there was a 2meter tricoupler. I want to see how scalable this design is. I had a version with a fourth stage which was similar to the third.
  7. I finally got around to updating my .15 designs to .16. This is a slightly modified version of the ship I used to complete the orbital rendezvous challenge on the ksp subreddit. Its all 1 meter parts, single pilot capsule and with sas is practically a hands off launch. Very stable, a little jiggling at full throttle but nothing catastrophic. With some skill it can put you into stable circular orbit with 75% of the fuel in the second stage left. Will easily reach the Mun, have not attempted Minimus yet.....being an adult gets in the way of playing (sigh) Imgur Album .craft file
  8. Its not really [stock] if it uses mods.......
  9. I'm relaxed. Didn't you see my smiley face? Mostly lurking, nice to know it was just a permissions issue. Thanks for the prompt attention
  10. Okay okay you got us! Post links to your dev blogs but nobody has permission to read them.....Nice one :-)
  11. the download link appears to be non-functional
