Okay i might be more excited about this than you guys are, but think hard and remember the nostalgia when you get closer and closer to achieving your goal when you first started! I have perfected my reentry vehicle. 2 science bays, 4 goos, 8 thermometers, and 8 barometers! And on the bottom 8 offset and angled heatshields and a single in the middle that keeps all my science safe during re entry. I have tested it from an steep apoptosis of 300km and came in as hot as i could. I have a build that will get me wayyyy into space, but not much maneuverability to put me into a good orbit so i dont run out of fuel making my second third and fourth maneuver. My bosslady should be proud of me at the work i have accomplished on the clock last night

Well it turned out really bad. So i ended up reverting to my vab and loaded up on batteries. I made the orbit and then loaded up on science, literally hundreds!! I stacked thermometers and barometers almost on top of eachother. On my way back to Kerbin i came in a little hot and everything burnt up. I saved prior to reentry but couldnt seem to enter without demise. I then went to rebuild a new vehicle with a reupdated heatshield. I angled support struts and put 8 heatshields in a concentric ring on the bottom. However now i am too top heavy and cant even seem to get into orbit lol. I swear the moment i do i am going to get bookoos of science!!!!

Hello everyone! My name is RanDumbKerb! I have been eyeing this game for quite some time now and decided to take the plunge! I have had it about a week now and logged roughly 30 hours. I have read stories about people doing silly things and thinking, how could they be so dense. (Physics pun for ya kerbs) well today was my goof moment. I attempted to make my first orbit of the mun, and did so gracefully, loaded up on science and started to head back..... guess who forgot to add batteries to their vessel and is now stuck in a multi million meter orbit of kerbil lol. It astounds me the vessels you all construct! Thank you for all the ideas, i hope to build something half as nice as you guys one day!
