  1. To add to the many that have pointed out that the problem lies with the developers and their code, not the engine, here is a thread complaining about how bad the performance of games built in unreal engine are. https://www.reddit.com/r/lowendgaming/comments/91aqe0/unreal_engine_games_to_low_spec_gamers/ I want to point out that in this, the original poster includes that he can play a game built in unity better than unreal. EDIT: For a 3d game in which performance is critical and made in unity, try beat saber. The performance is so good that players ability to play faster speeds was throttled by SteamVR tracking responsiveness and SteamVR needed to be upgraded and not the code or unity engine.
  2. Unity is a really good engine, that is continuously improving. It is has its problems like all engines do, however if there is problem with game then it most likely due to the programming (the ability of the developers), and has nothing do with the engine. Here are some more games made with unity, but there are heaps made with unity but you probably don't realise (Haven't played these, but didn't realise they were made in unity). - Beat Saber, osiris: new dawn, homeworld: deserts of kharak, stranded deep, victory at sea, the forest, rust, .
  3. KSP 1 was a game that leaned towards the fun side of realism. I am all for that there, and am against too much realism in KSP 1. If you are looking for that side, then play KSP 1. I think KSP 2 should lean more towards the realistic side and set itself apart in how it feels to fly. Yes it will mean a harder learning curve, but it should be. There is no point making a second KSP game if it is just going to be the same as KSP 1 with a few different parts and worlds.
