  1. I REALLY HOPE THEY FREAKING FINISH THE GAME SOONER... IT LOOKS SO COOL AND WELL DONE THAT OH YEAH WE'RE GOING TO LEARN INTERSTELLAR MANOEUVRES GUYS IN STOCK!!!!
  2. I'd love to see many of the different systems talked about in the atomic rockets site... http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/ Not only do many of them make sense... Many of them are completely kerbal and should be a part of the game... Just to name a few: - Beer rockets: you got it using beer as your propellant - mass drivers: an interstellar engine that is powered by simply flinging rocks out the back of the rocket... after accelerating them with a electromagnetic accelerator of course... - nuclear ramjets: yep those ramjets the us developed which could fly in the atmosphere ready for months but decided not to make as they would irradiate the earth way too much - and many more you get the idea... but it think as this site has been a source of sci fi fun for so long many of the engines featured in it should be a part of the game...
  3. for the really long burns what is the best mod to use to warp through the burn? I tend to use the nuclear engines for the dV and often get 10 - 15 minute burns and don't often have that much patience (or time really sometimes)...
  4. That makes total sense now... so i have to do the escape burn at the 110 degrees and at a node... gotcha thanks man
  5. Was getting transfers to moho from orbit and then getting there to moho, but was having some trouble... I use my transfer windows (thank you Matt Lowne) but can't seem to get an encounter unless i do a course correction after leaving kerbin orbit... Any ideas on how to get a better encounter so I don't have to waste fuel on a course correction mid transfer? I also had some trouble slowing down into a moho orbit... I know the burns are notoriously large but I'm getting hour long game time burns (part of it is probably due to the use of nuclear engines) any ideas on how i can time warp during the burns or get burns that are slightly shorter? Thanks
  6. I found that turning off stability assist got me through the ascent out of kerbin's atmosphere as the ship stopped trying to correct itself and thus wobbling... But as above not a full solution because you would need to turn sas back on when in orbit
