  1. Basically that. I've played the game for a while but never come up with a satisfactory answer for this question. I usually start burning so that I'll finish around when the node is but is that the best option? Is there something better? Let me know.
  2. Overall, if it increases your enjoyment if the game, go ahead. I'd propose maybe only magicking yourself to LKO and then actually traveling regularly from there. It sounds like your main issue is that launching station parts is boring, because, let's be honest, it is. So only teleporting to LKO would allow you to do that while not influencing the rest of the game that much. That way you keep the travel times without having to build a rocket to get whatever it is into orbit. Just a suggestion.
  3. From my experience, the "Cannot Auto-Warp so far" message appears when you try to warp into a planet's (in this case Eve) sphere of influence from the sphere of influence of another body (except Kerbol, sometimes. Kerbol is weird). For example, say I did a flyby of the Mun and was on an escape trajectory of Kerbin. While I am in the Mun's sphere of influence (or SOI) I cannot time warp directly to that of Kerbol. In order to resolve this, you have to warp into the middle SOI first. So for you, if you're within Kerbin's SOI, warp to Kerbol's and then from there to Eve's. Also, if you have extra deltaV, it's good to get down your periapsis a bit so that if it moves during warp, it will stay within the planet's SOI.
  4. I recently started playing a new career mode game and I was thinking about mission names. What do you name your missions? I name them after characters in mythology. For example, I just launched the fourth spacecraft in the Aphrodite program. So I was wondering what other KSP players name their missions. I know some use very simple names (Mun Lander 1), and that makes sense but I was wondering what sort of themes the other group uses. Like do you name your missions after fictional characters in a particular book or whatever? I'm very curious to know.
  5. Updating the mod seems to have worked. Thank you very much!
  6. Hi! I'm having a problem and I think it's caused by this mod (because I installed the others and it worked fine and then added this one and the issue began). Now I have no idea why and maybe I'm totally off my rocker here but it seems slightly plausible to me (someone who knows nothing virtually nothing about computers) so here goes. Basic rundown of the problem: I load the game (in version 1.8.1) in 64 bit mode (as usual). It takes me to the main menu at which point nothing appears to happen. The main menu loads, the music plays and everything but none of the menu buttons work. As I said before, the issue was not there without this mod in particular but appears with it. I know this because after running into this issue multiple times over the last 36 hours, I re-installed the game and began adding mods one at a time. The issue did not appear until I added the Firespitter, DMagic Science Animate and Coatl Aerospace folders to GameData Current version: KSP 1.8.1 Other Mods installed: Dmagic Orbital Science v1.4.3 Kerbal Alarm Clock v3.12.0.0 Kopernicus 1.8.1-1 (which comes with a version of ModularFlightIntegrator) Outer Planets Mod v2.2.6 Module Manager 4.1.3 Log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y6gvp066w6agq52/Log.zip?dl=0 Thanks, and please tell me if there is any other information you need!
