@Felix Daines EnrichedUranium (that is, actively radioactive material, typically in the form of long and heavy rods and which will irradiate everything and everyone around it if its container, the reactor, is opened) is by definition not allowed to conveniently pump around between parts. Same goes for its used up form "DepletedUranium" or "DepletedFuel." I can't help you with MKS itself, but Near Future Electrical has a plugin for transferring these around. But you'll be introduced the needs to wait for the reactor or container to cool down enough, and for a high level engineer to do EVA actions on the source and target parts.
Ah thank you, I have near future electrical installed, does the plugin come bundled or do I need to install it or activate it in some way?

So I'm using several mods in my game including MKS from USI, however I can't seem to be able to transfer enriched uranium between storage with docked vessels or even within the same vessel. I've seen a few posts about using 'maintenance' function to transfer it but I haven't been able to get this to work.
I'm probably missing something really simple!
Thanks!

So I've realised I have nf solar not nf electrical. I'm installing it now. I also discovered that feline utility rovers can transfer unriched uranium with the nuclear fuel storage.
