I know this is an old thread but the sanity sake I just want to report it as well so @aluc24 report is corroborated. Fresh ksp 1.12.1 install absolutely no mod. - Humming sound is present in VAB/SPH - If I disable ambiance in ksp setting Humming sound is gone (however doing this also remove ambient sound in building and while flying rocket "loose shut off sound from engines for examples". This was similarly reported by Aluc24 so it's not a viable work around) Unfortunately I've searched for "sound_ambience_industrial" as pointed out by @tg626 in the hope to being able to replace that sound file with a blank one. But I can't find it anywhere in the source files of KSP so I suspect it might be compiled now or renamed. FYI: It's funny that anywhere and everywhere this as been reported a common trend remain in the comments lol no Aluc24 you're not hearing sound :-) Happy flying !

Browsing Kerbalx I came across a ship LT-01-Sherpa and its construction made me curious. I asked the author but no answer, searched the web and the forum without any luck either. I hope the breakdown below explain clearly what I'm trying to do Many thanks in advance for your time and feedback. Happy flying. I'm wondering if there is a way in KSP to get the fairing to start at the bottom of the fairing base without manually editing the .craft file either with clipping or I don't know which wizardry... I've stripped the original .craft file and only left the fairing (it's the bottom one) than I added a girder and put an other fairing on top trying to reproduce. The only way I could do it was to manually edit the .craft file and offset the start height position of the fairing and increasing the radius so it cover the base. I thought I give it a go not that experienced player but this was a fun challenge. Flight plan:- Orbit around Kerbin- Fly-by the mun- Orbit around minmus- come back and land safely.
