  1. This is a copy paste from my  post on the subreddit, I'm posting this here because i got 0 answers and downvoted for asking a stupid question (probably in the opinion of a person who thought I was an idiot).

So I bought a HOTAS controller, specifically the Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS X, not to be confused with Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X. The throttle on that controller has a notch on the 50% point, meaning the output from the controller is -1 if fully backwards and 1 if fully forwards, meant to be used as an easy reverse. Now, my problem is that when I map Axis 2 (the throttle on the controller) to throttle ingame with the Advanced FlyByWire mod, it only uses one half of the throttle, and if the input is not inverted, pulling the throttle fully backwards makes the ingame throttle go to 100% and centering it mkes it go to zero. Obviously I want to use the full range of the throttle, as I have no use for reverse throttle in KSP, and it isn't even supported. So, how could I make use of the full range of the throttle?

just download mechjeb DEV version from CKAN it is for 1.12.1. Note you will have to do some setting tinkering to get mechjeb dev release pop up.

Ok! I will try that. Thank you.

I haven’t updated MJ from whatever version was working in 1.11; it’s working fine in 1.12 despite a pop-up warning on game launch. Perhaps there’s some module deep in one mode or another that needs updating, but rendezvous works just fine. No need to mess with dev versions

I'll rather wait for MechJeb to get updated but thank you nonetheless.

I have not experienced this. I'm using version 1.1.9.0 of Kerbal Engineer Redux on KSP 1.12.1.  ( I never uses KSP12.1 and i had loading issues. The hot-fix that came out fixed that issue for me)

I have seen no issues relating to aircraft flight (which is pretty much all I really do ),

Have you downloaded Kerbal Engineer Redux from Curseforge or are you using CKAN. I use CKAN and i'm thinking that might the problem.

  4. When i installed Kerbal Engineer Redux on 1.12 i couldn't take off with a plane anymore. When i got to a speed of about 125m/s on the runway the plane started wobbling uncontrollably and eventually crashed on the ground. Has anybody else had this problem? Kerbal Engineer devs, Please fix this. Thank you.

MechJeb does this and much, much more.

If you watch it work carefully, it is also a good teacher.

    Welcome to the forum!

Thank you! I will try MechJeb once it updates to 1.12.1 (And 1.12.2 when it comes out)
