so what do I do to get 7x more delta v, adding that much fuel tanks seems impractical

So I have an SSTO and I'm trying to land on the mun and reture. I heard that you need about 7,000 m/s of DV to do it. My SSTO has 13,000 m/s of DV in the hangar, checked with Kerbal Engineer Redux, but everytime I launch I always end up in low orbit around kerbin with no fuel left. I just want to know what I did wrong. Image of SSTO How I get to orbit: 1. Fly flat until I get to 450 m/s to maximize thrust for the rapier engines 2. Ascend at a 15 deg angle of attack untill I get to the dark blue bit in the altitude meter. (I forgot the exact altitude) 3. Change angle of attack to 20 deg 4. Switch rapier engines to closed cycle mode and turn off the intakes 5. Wait for apoapsis to get to 70,000 km. 6. Circularize 7. Run out of fuel
