  1. Do note that Mun's topography is different depending where you are. Mun's lowest point, or sea level, is at the bottom of the lowest crater; whereas Mun's highest is in the hilly regions at the south pole. So if you are going for a flat equatorial orbit, you can be safe anywhere up to about 2500, but even that is pushing it. For max safety a 4km orbit is perfect.
  2. I think the main point to notice is that there is a difference between when you should be artsy and when you shouldn't. If you are showing off a craft design or a new part you modded or just showing off your hard work at making a cool station, try for the most visibility, not the most artistically over thought shot you can make as an amateur photographer/gamer. So to say that when showing off a design a shot like this: Will always trump a shot like this:
  3. For those who don't know I am one of the larger live streamers on twitch for KSP, and as many of you know Damion has left the KSP team recently. Damion did a hell of alot of work getting the KSP community to where it is today and has helped me and the other main streamers out a ton, by promoting the stream on the KSP facebook and twitter, and by showing up and talking with us on stream. He also brought C7 onto my kerbalpalooza stream for a Q & A with some of the other streamers. Because of all this I did a stream where I took Damion and the main 7 streamers of KSP around kerbin 20 times, and then sent off Damion in style, out of the Solar System in an SSTO. So here is the fully edited video. Thank you so much Damion from the KSP community.
