The disassembly problem was not a problem, the craft didn`t do that and the srb disconection was fine- they hit each other, but at that point the rest of the rocket was above them. By the way I am almost finished with the rescue just need to return to Kerbin.

Yes, but the big problem is I don`t have a big enough heat shield and other parts to fit the mk2 command pod. And I don`t think a probe would have that big reach.

Hello, I happen to be in a bad situation: stranded on minus with extremly low amount of fuel, very limited tech tree and Bob on board. (I am playing sience mode.) Do you have any ideas to help me get Bob back to Kerbin?
