Thanks for the tip. It turned out that it had to do with TweakableEverything. I took out patches related to solar panels and it worked very well. I might reinstall them using CKAN (I'd been doing it manually up until now).

Hi all, Long-time reader, first-time poster: When I select them from the parts menu they're flashing red instead of just semi-transparent and I can't attach them at all. This includes stock parts as well as mod solar panels. I've been playing in a modded career. I tried again in sandbox and the same problem happened. Only two NearFutureSolar panels worked. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!
