I can't seem to get my water scanners to scan water while using planetary base systems, any advice? I also am having problems with the overlay showing on the orbital scan.

I've been using TAC LS for a bit but not super long. I think I have the basics down as far as making sure I give the kerbals what they need when I leave kerbin, but in attempts to set up a base that it somewhat close-loop. I don't know what to do with waste that gets generated. I know you can use Carbon dioxide and waste water to make oxygen and water. But what do you do with the waste that is created from turning waste water into water?
