I decided I would just reinstall and start over from scratch. If the issue continues I'll just have to play vanilla... Thanks for your help and wisdom.

I had a feeling that RAM was the issue. I only have 8 GB but I feel like that should be enough. I have recently moved my KSP setup from Disk 1 (HDD) to Disk 2 (SSD), but I wasn't having this issue before. I've been adding mods as I go along, hoping that they aren't incompatible. I'm having an issue where whenever I start KSP (or on loading screens) it starts using the wrong drive; KSP is installed on my SSD, disk 2, but task manager says that it's transferring on my HDD, disk 1. This has been happening to the point where it takes over half an hour to load a save file. I've tried using a few different disk analysis tools to see where it's reading from but nothing shows up. Also, I have over 100 mods installed so reinstalling isn't exactly possible.
