First of all, I'm new to the KSP forums so please tell me if the topic is correct, anyways, like the title says, what should I put at the end of my plane so it doesn't look like doodoo?

So I was trying to test a plane of mine, and when i tested it, it switched changed perspective to a plane that had crashed, and i couldn't switch to any other planes. When i turn on the engine, it flips out for no reason. It didn't do that any other times. (For context i had closed the game a couple hours ago.
