I'm not even sure what exactly is causing the game to behave as if my craft was destroyed, but whenever I undock a command module from a lander in an Apollo-style mission, the craft just plummets straight down towards the Mun and I lose all control of everything. I just use clamp-o-tron docking ports, same size on both ends. Happens upon restarting the game as well.
